Get Golf Ready

**PGA HOPE is the flagship military program of the PGA of America. PGA HOPE is designed to introduce golf to Veterans and Active Duty Military to support their social, emotional, and physical well being.**

Join PGA HOPE alongside your fellow Veterans and Servicemembers. PGA HOPE has served thousands of Veterans and Servicemembers across the United States through one of our 300+ locations.

This introductory program is designed to welcome those of all ages, branches and eras of service, genders, and abilities to the golf course and share in camaraderie and fun together as a group. During this session you will learn the basics from grip to 9 holes of golf from PGA and LPGA Professionals.

- No golf equipment is required. If you do have clubs and/or any specialty equipment, please bring them with you.
- No prior golf experience necessary
- No VA disability rating required
- Veterans do not have to have combat or deployments in order to participate
- All expenses associated with PGA HOPE are covered

PGA HOPE Cacapon - Session 1

A junior golf team for all junior golfers regardless of skill level between the ages of 6-13. Depending on how many juniors we will have a Travel team and a developmental team that will compete against other Manufacturers' players.

PGA HOPE College Park - Session 1

We are excited to announce a Junior Golf Intermediate 201 Program at Poplar Forest Golf Course. Join PGA Coach Jacob Mast and staff as we help young boys and girls continue their development in the game of golf in a fun and engaging environment.

6 Week program, starting April 5. Saturdays from 9:00 AM- 10:00 AM

Attire: Dress for the weather, but shorts, a golf shirt or nice T-shirt, cap and tennis shoes are appropriate for our clinic.

Equipment needed:

If you have golf clubs for your participant, please bring them. Otherwise, please contact us as a limited supply of loaner clubs are available.

What’s included?

- All instruction
- Range balls
- Refreshments: water, sports drinks, snacks

6 week Instruction will include:

- Introduction to golf
- Course Etiquette
- Fundamentals
- Short Game
- Putting
- Full Swing

PGA HOPE Harrisonburg - Spring

We’re excited to offer PGA Jr. League at Stoneleigh!  Our season runs from April - July.  All matches are played on Sunday afternoons.  Most practices will be on Sundays as well.
