Nicole Felce, PGA/LPGA Makes the Weekend at KPMG Women’s PGA Championship

Nicole Felce, the PGA of America and LPGA Assistant Golf Professional at Countryside Country Club in Clearwater, Fla., will play the weekend at the 2026 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship at Hazeltine National Golf Club. Felce is the first member of the Corebridge Financial Team since 2019 to make the cut at the Championship.
In only her second KPMG Women’s PGA Championship appearance, a second-round 2-under 70 provided just the right number for Felce to make the cut at 1-over for the Championship.
“I knew I had to shoot a couple under to do it,” said Felce, a Member of the North Florida PGA Section. “I just kind of stuck to my game plan and trusted every shot, trusted my caddie and trusted what I was doing.”
Jimin Kang, PGA/LPGA, was the last golf professional to make the cut at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship; also played at Hazeltine in 2019.
Felce, starting her second-round on the back nine, had a quick start to her day with two birdies in her first five holes. A bogey on the par-4 second hole threatened her position above the cutline, but a timely birdie on the 7th, her 16th, sealed the deal.
“I was kind of in between a 4- or 5-iron on my second shot there,” she said of her position on the 483 yard par-5. “I talked about it with my caddie and we were like, you know, just kind of get something, even if it's a little short of the green just so I can score.”
Her second shot did just that, landing short of the green in the rough but with a good lie. She chipped it two feet and secured the birdie. “I knew I needed that, so that was huge.”
The goal for Felce coming into Chaska, Minn., was to make the cut. As for her new plans for Saturday and Sunday?
“Just kind of enjoying every moment, seeing how low I can go and seeing what I can do out there.”
As a teaching professional, she not only felt support onsite at Hazeltine from players and spectators, but also from Countryside Country Club.
“All the members and students at my club have been really supportive of me. All the staff have been great, so they're going to be really thrilled.”
Felce is the lone member of the Corebridge Financial Team of eight PGA of America and LPGA Professionals to make the weekend.
