Anna Davis & Asterisk Talley Lead Junior Ryder Cup and Junior PGA Championship Competitors at Augusta National Women's Amateur

The week before the Masters is a special one at Augusta National. This is when the best amateur female golfers from around the world compete in the Augusta National Women's Amateur. This is the who's who of the future generation of golf stars.
Included in the field are 9 past Junior Ryder Cup team members, 30 Junior PGA Championship competitors and even 2 Junior PGA Champions — Anna Davis and Asterisk Talley.
Our 2021 Junior PGA Champion, Anna Davis, who raised the Patty Berg Trophy at Valhalla, also won the 2022 ANWA and is competing for her 5th time at Augusta. Asterisk Talley is our reigning Junior PGA Champion, having won in 2025 at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex. Asterisk was going to have some extra help at the Championship with 2023 Junior PGA Champion Miles Russell as her caddie, but he earned a spot in the Korn Ferry Tour event the same week.

The Augusta National Women's Amateur features a global field of 72 players who will tee it up in a 54-hole stroke-play event, with the top 30 and ties advancing after 36 holes. The opening two rounds will be played on the Island and Bluff nines at Champions Retreat Golf Club on Wednesday, April 1, and Thursday, April 2. On Friday, April 3, the full field will head to Augusta National for an official practice round. The championship then shifts to Augusta National on Saturday, April 4, where those who made the cut will compete in the final round.
