Jeff McEldowney has been helping people play better golf for 20+ years. After earning his PGA membership, Jeff followed his passion for coaching and joined the Columbus GOLFTEC team in 2006. During his time at GOLFTEC, Jeff has coached students to multiple club championships, state golf championships, collegiate scholarships and career bests. He has introduced dozens of players to the game of golf, helping them prepare for their first ever round on the course.

Jeff loves the variety of students that he has an opportunity to teach. He loves helping golfers solve their problems whether that be how to get the ball airborne or breaking par for the first time. Every student brings with them their own set of problems, goals, and frustrations. Meeting them where they are and helping them overcome those milestones energizes Jeff and his other coaches at GOLFTEC.

Jeff is honored to lead a staff of 14 coaches at GOLFTEC in Columbus, Ohio. He is thrilled and proud of his spectacular team of 7 PGA Professionals, 7 PGA Associates, 1 Teacher of the Year recipient and multiple GOLF DIGEST Best in State Instructors. Both the Easton Center and Dublin Center have been recognized nationally as top instruction facilities in the US.

Jeff is a native of Dayton, Ohio where he was introduced to the game by his dad. His passions growing up were basketball and golf. It was finally in college where he realized that golf was not only his passion, but his calling in life. Jeff attended Campbell University in North Carolina where he competed in the PGM program while earning his Bachelors of Business Administration and completing his requirements to become a PGA Professional. Jeff married his college sweetheart, Amanda McEldowney and lives in Westerville, Ohio where they are raising their daughters Kennedy (11) and Caroline (6).
